SUNDAY, November 11, saw the gathering of lots of fundraising ideas at the Autumn Fayre.

A small group of Assistants and members from Finsbury Park helped to host a fundraising event at Hackney’s Chats Palace from 11am to 6pm to raise funds for the Ben Nevis Challenge.

Letters were distributed to nearby schools, posters were put up around Hackney and leaflets were handed out and delivered to local Estates to advertise the event. Hundreds of people came to see what all the fuss was about including families and children who enjoyed themselves in the Kids room.

Also in attendance was local newspaper, the Hackney Gazette who later featured the event in its newspaper. Over £1000 was raised on that day and here are just a few fundraising ideas that you could also do that helped to make this Autumn Fayre a success:
