"The five hours up and three and half hours down were gruelling. I have climbed Mount Sinai in Egypt many times, but Ben Nevis was at least three times as hard! I can confidently say I have never done anything so physically challenging as this. Being at the top is wonderful, but to get there is very hard. You get knocks you get bruises, but if you want to rise to the top there is only one way - its the pure raw action of faith." - Bishop Renato Cardoso
"It was more challenging than I could have ever had expected and it reminded me that in life we will also face mountains that we don’t expect. But in the same way we made it up and down through determination, there is also no mountain that can stop us in life when we persevere." - Ann Anofienem
"The climb was the hardest thing that I’ve ever done physically. Many doubts came if I would actually make it, and I had to constantly fight these thoughts and tell myself that I COULD do it. It’s amazing what you can achieve when you decide in your mind that you can do something!" - Chris Boodram
"For me the hardest part was the last half and hour before we reached the summit. There was a point that I wanted to cry and stop as my legs were giving in and the climb just seemed never ending; but I realised that when you are near the top in life, things get harder, but you just have to keep going because when I reached the top of the mountain, it was worth all the pain and effort."- Kalema Reece
"What I experienced was that in life, to get to the top there is no shortcuts. After 2 and half hours of climbing the mountain, I could still see the base of the mountain and I thought, ‘wouldn’t it be easier to go vertically up rather than waste time going round the mountain?’ But this wasn’t possible and it was very dangerous. I realised in that moment that we all look for the quickest way to succeed in life, but we have to take the right routes, which might take longer, but it’s sure to bring success."- Sam Taylor
